I know they are not equivalent in many ways, but I have heard some discussion of milder orals being essentially as harmful to your liver as a drink or two of alcohol. Also, it seems like your liver especially, one, recovers relatively easily if you do not over stress it, and two, is hard to get a real reading on how much harm or damage has been done solely from enzyme values, or at least one or two value readings not taken in a context with other symptoms and values.
I could be completely off base, but this is roughly how I have understood milder and reasonably dosed oral compounds. Although, I have yet to experiment with orals. Am I oversimplifying concepts that are more nuanced, or is this a somewhat accurate view?
