you need to know what type you have. im not 100% on how to use it so dont listen to me but from what i know, DONT LISTEN TO ME, but you pin around your lifts so you can shove food into your muscles for recovery. LANTAS is the "safest" because of its long acting, harder to go hypo from. you really gotta have your diet on point before you run it so you know how much glycogen is in your system as running slin removes it all and shoves in your muscles.
