I already made a post over on Meso, so I’m just going to copy and paste over here.

This may be a little long, but I am going to try to make it as cohesive as possible. A few months ago after seeing all the source testing, and blind testing I placed my first order with Colonial. When it had arrived, I checked the vials like I always do, and I found floaters in the primo. I posted it in the discord I was in at the time, and also emailed colonial about it. I believe he handled it very well, he apologized, gave me $200 credit to replace the primo, and sent pictures multiple pictures refiltering “what he had left” and assured me it would not happen again.

I finally decided to place my second order some time ago, and use my credit for my upcoming blast. When the order arrived, I found floaters in the NPP. I once again, emailed him, he apologized, offered a replacement vial for the NPP with a floater in it, and said gave me “the end of a filter” excuse.

I only needed a couple more vials, so I accepted the replacement, and paid for the other 3 that I needed, this time, getting it in MCT (the other oils were GSO) and you guessed it, floaters so far in 2 vials. I have not even checked the other 2 yet.

I am a complete idiot, I know. I should not have even accepted the second order, let alone the third. But I wanted to let everyone in the community know so they can double check any of their vials and be safe. I really need to learn how to fucking home brew at this point.

edit: I still have all the emails, pictures of vials, and videos. Idk if I can post a video here, but if someone tells me how I will gladly show them all floating around. But I will post pictures right now of the vial

Just post the video to youtube, set it to ‘only people with link can view’, then post the link here. Thanks

Can you elaborate on “end of a filter excuse”? Since sources should check every vial for floaters I’m unsure how that’s relevant.

@Liska the second time I found the floaters he said he was wondering if it was from an older batch, from the old filters. This time he said that it was was likely a filter strand from an older vial again.

@09370z If you could post the photos that would be useful to substantiate the claim. imgur or imgbb are probably fine for that. I am unsure as to the best video host but maybe someone else can offer some input/suggestions.

@EnhancedGrappler Yeah sorry I forgot to post them on here, I posted them over on meso and was trying to answer some questions over there. I have also been speaking with colonial. I just want to say again, I do believe Colonial was honestly upset about this, and seemed like he did truly care. I was hesitant about posting this thread, but three seperate orders, with multiple vials, and in different oils, I did not want someone unknowingly pinning a floater and possible getting an infection or something.

Great, thank you for including the images. I also appreciate you reaching out to the source directly, seems like this isn’t a one-off but an ongoing issue that you would have otherwise resolved privately and there’s nothing wrong with bringing it forward here. Hopefully @Colonial-Labs can chime in shortly.

@EnhancedGrappler Yeah, I really was hesitant to make a thread about this. Colonial’s customer service was above and beyond, and like I said he seemed like he felt awful about it, so I do not have anything negative to say. I just wanted people to keep an eye out since it did happen so many seperate times.

Surprised to see this to be honest. I’ve never had an issue. I just looked through all my vials to be safe. I didn’t see any floaters. Batch C131, C121, C136.

Sorry, I just saw this here. I responded to this on Meso a bit ago. I’ll share the response here also:

"
Hi guys,

Firstly, I apologize to the original poster for having to go through this ordeal. If I was in his shoes, I would do the same thing to help the community.

To address the issue at hand, we initially changed the material of our filters and also added a whole new layer of filters when a couple people including the original poster here initially pointed out the problem to us via email. When we did this, we didn’t trash the older vials, but did inspect them individually. Apparently this wasn’t enough because this order by the original poster was more recent. The older batches range from C100-C117. We made the change on filters after these batches were brewed and filtered already.

There are a few compounds which still have vials from the older batches. We will trash these vials instead of again reinspecting them. We have not encountered any issues in the subsequent batches however.

I apologize for the trouble this has caused, and I am glad clients do post this because it helps us to improve, as a source. If we lose loyal customers over this, I completely understand. We will only use this to improve.

Thank you
"

I primarily only use Colonial and one other source. I inspect all vials with a blacklight. I’ve never come across a floater. The only vials I currently have are of a Batch C135 testosterone enanthate. I can share pictures if needed, they don’t have any floaters either.

Having to go through the time-devouring ordeal of checking every single vial for floaters diligently myself, I am honestly curious how several vials containing floaters can be missed upon inspection, as customers claiming to be finding these are piling up on Meso now that awareness is spreading.

You think there’s any possibility the more aggressive solvents used in those super high mg injectables could be eating away at the stoppers post inspection causing floaters to get loose?

@Colonial-Labs it sounds like you were aware of this problem already and tried to mitigate it but you weren’t successful at spot checking entire previous batches. In the interest of ensuring your customer base is well informed of this occurrence, could you please make a post in your sales thread just letting customers know that if they’re holding those batches they should inspect their products and/or reach out to you for a replacement from a new batch? This seems like the best way to ensure everyone is aware of the issue and is taken care of fairly.

I think this would help actually resolve the issue for the most number of affected customers.

@Liska We extracted the identical thread found in a few vials and it matched our last level filter’s thread when we opened it up at the time. Our stoppers are silicone coated.

I’m not sure of your scale of operation, but I won’t get too much into it for security… We just had a very large amount of vials brewed and due to human error at least one did slip through apparently, as per the OP’s post.

@Colonial-Labs

The Meso thread has been up for less than a day and so far I counted 8 vials of different products posted about with floaters (some with, some without proof), some claimed to be cloth, some small metallic pieces… assuming far less than 1% of your customers have read the Meso thread and responded to it publically, that is extremely disturbing (if true of course).

I understand it’s incredibly difficult to scale up without slipping, but that’s why you only do it if you can safely employ enough people to maintain quality control and not endanger the health of your customers.

I know posting this harshly doesn’t fit the SST style but considering the insane amount of money big US labs pull in monthly, the means to prevent this from happening in the first place have always been available to you.

@Liska I definitely did not count 8. I would love proof for those who claimed to find a particle. Like I said, this was publicly addressed a few months ago in my thread and I publicly asked people to email me for the batches even then. Those who lurk on meso over SST maybe did not see that.

And we did address it right away as well by upgrading every polycap filter which we have in-line. I stated this in my public statement as well.

Post inspection, it seems only one person (the OP) received a vial with the filter material. That is why I have trashed the small amount of vials left in the older batches and again asked people to inspect those batch numbers.

I agree with you that safety is the number one concern here. But to claim that 8 separate affected vials went out after our upgrade of filters is a blatant lie. Please point out these 8 vials and please point out when they were purchased and please include pictures as well as batch numbers.

I’m on both meso and SST and colonial did post this around November when it happened on SST. My vials weren’t affected but he sent me pictures of the upgrade of the filters because I asked. It’s somewhere in his thread, he asked people to email him also for replacements when it happened.

Just a few things here @Liska, my understanding is that Colonial is not active on Meso. Now SST isn’t an island by any means, but in some capacity you have to appreciate that any claims of product issues have to be taken with a grain of salt if they’re unsubstantiated and on boards he doesn’t participate on. You can’t control that but if you are seeing that Colonial has this colossal costumer base that experiencing issues but they’re not showing up on the forum that he actively advertises on, you should point them in this direction. Their experiences like @09370z will be noted.

But also there is this: “I know posting this harshly doesn’t fit the SST style…”. Maybe you can clarify what you mean here, because a customer made a complaint here, they offered to post proof of the issue, they were asked to please do so, they were thanked for that proof, and the source was asked to answer to it. Your response doesn’t come across as harsh but it might be lacking in productivity. Assuming you’re simply a concerned onlooker who wants the best for AAS users, I would ask how you feel @Colonial-Labs might best address this issue, apart from his actions so far today.
