That sucks, I’ve heard about that happening to people and am afraid of being banned myself. Did you send bitcoin directly to a source rather than to a wallet first? That’s a reason they will ban you, or so I’ve heard.
I’ve used a bitcoin ATM once when coinbase was down. Pretty simple, just deposit cash in the ATM and specify the wallet you want the bitcoin to go to. It will give you a receipt and the bitcoin to show up in a few hours. There are a few downsides though;
You need to find an ATM near you, this can be hard if you don’t live near a major city.
The conversion rate is a bit worse than Coinbase. while not as bad as some other places (i.e. localbitcoin), it’s not as good as Coinbase.
I takes a few hours (~2) for the bitcoin to show up in your wallet. Not too long, but not instant like buying bitcoin is. When I purchased, I wasn’t 100% sure it was legit so I sketched out pretty hard, the bitcoin showed up though and everything worked out fine.
