A question for users of the Cash App but does really function properly? I’ve been searching for other crypto currency apps/companies like coinbase and Gemini and each to its own pros and cons. But I’m curious if it works. Any feedback from the sst bros?

cashapp works like venmo, just transfer money. I guess sources don’t want to use it out of fear of getting jammed up. It’d be more efficient than buying coins imo

Ya I’ve wondered why sources don’t use this or Venmo. Much easier than crypto without all the fluctuations. Would like to see a source chime in on this

I’ve used it to buy bitcoin. Very easy and no fees. I believe coinbase charges around $7 to buy around $200 bitcoin if I recall. And I’ve had many issues with coinbase over the years. The most recent is the instant buy through a debit or credit card has completly stopped working and I’ve tried 5 different cards (two debits and three credit). So I don’t even bother with coinbase because my last buy through a bank account took 8 days. Fuck tht. They always seemed sketchy anyways.

Yeah coinbase can suck my left nut. I use my gfs account though and I haven’t had a problem so far. I just don’t want to be bugging her. Gemini takes like a week to withdraw funds. Is cash app that simple? What’s the catch?

CashApp will allow you to buy and send BTC. Verified this with a customer today. He sent from CashApp to an non-CashApp BTC address and we had zero issues with the transaction.

Yeah you have to verify to withdrawal (send) the bitcoins. Just provide them the verification that they need and it should be approved. Took them about 8 hours to approve mine.

I just used Cash App this past week for an order on irc.bio, no issues.

When I first set it up last month it took a little while to get verified so I could withdraw, but now that I am it’s a very fast process.

I’m not seeing it. It used to have the ability to buy and send btc but took it away.

Have you tried to update the app? It has like 5 different currency to choose from.
