Bulking versus Cutting

My biggest question and personal problem has been how do I stay lean and gain muscle? Is it even possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? Or at least lose fat and not lose muscle at the same time? I see a lot of conflicting info out there. I just ended a bulking phase and gained a bit more fat than I wanted. But I am feeling pretty strong and think the muscle is hiding under there. I also did my first trial run of Nandrolone. I use a base of T. Cyp 250 mg a week and have been for about 2 years now. At this point I am letting the nandrolone wash out and am starting a bit more cardio than what I was doing before. I've heard that one should not try to cut-in right away after a cycle, that all that does is make one lose all the gains they made. So I may try to keep the diet and weights the same and just add a bit more cardio to start. I'm 5'10" and 236 pounds right now. My thought is to give it 1-2 months and then try cutting in harder. So if you've read this far and want to leave a comment. I am looking for your advice on getting lean and keeping the muscle I have as best as one can. Thanks for helping a bro out.

Honestly cutting fat and gaining muscle are two different phases.

IMO the gaining of fat is a net negative, I understand if someone is trying to gain a lot of muscle and strength and need the extra fat to keep from feeling like crap with low energy.

Burn the fat off, it's not healthy to be 5'10" 236 lbs no matter your body composition, your heart has to work harder.

Gaining muscle while losing fat is possible depending on your genetics and the strictness of your diet in that every calorie you eat has high nutrient density and you push your muscles hard to grow while at the same time using body fat as fuel as well.

Goes back to the lean animal protein, sweet potato, broccoli diet, all foods that build the body without garbage that is gonna be stored.

High intensity shorter interval cardio training will keep you from doing too much cardio that might cause a loss in muscle mass, but you do need to get the heart pounding.

That said the most important aspect is your diet, this more than anything else is really the key to body recomposition. And this more than any other aspect is probably the most brutal part of body building as it takes a lot of self control.
