So running 4iu HGH daily and I woke up 2 days ago after only 5 or so hours of sleep, which is unusual, it's also unusual that I check my blood sugar but I was feeling out of whack and figured I should check what I could. Turns out my blood sugar was 101.

haven't checked ever on this dose of hgh, but it was startling to me to see my fasted blood sugar above 100, I was legit actually worried for a second. Anyway I checked a couple more times over the last 2 days, skipped. breakfast it was 97 this morning and it was only at 91 before I ate lunch.

So I've never regularly checked blood sugar while on HGH really but I've also never exceeded 2 iu. Normally my fasted glucose is in the low 70s, I understand high increases blood glucose.

Am I alone at seeing such a change at just 4ius of growth?

Maybe the GH im using is just really that good? I feel great, I'm just going to make sure to fast a couple mornings a week to make sure I don't get my blood sugar up too high as I just start to feel funny ( I only lift 2 days a week so my gear use is not to put on tons of size ) .

Is this where insulin comes in to effect for bodybuilders? Wish I knew if insulin could be useful for me but it seems like a lot to learn about a drug I probably wouldn't end up using.

Would love to hear what everyone's BG reads at, and if anyone else sees such a drastic change, and also thoughts on insulin and it's usefulness for athletes.

I'm in the same situation. 4iu nightly. Blood glucose is higher than I'd like, but nothing crazy I don't think. I just had blood drawn this morning so I'm looking forward to seeing what the LabCorp results say. I had not eaten since the night before. Truth is I'm measuring at home with a $19 test kit from Walmart so I don't exactly trust it (though I think they are fairly reliable).

I struggle with gh at bedtime as I usually hit the gym in the evening and eat afterwards. I think ideally with HGH I'd not eat prior to injection.

Same goes for me, I’m not fasted at all when I take my hgh. At best its been 2 hours since meal usually 30 min to 1 hour

I was splitting the dose for a couple weeks there and honestly taking HGH in the morning was making me insanely hungry and periodically lethargic throughout the day, totally not a method that would ever work for me.

When are you taking the 4iu? Where is this in proximity to meals?

Man that sucks I run 5-10iu and blood sugar is always 85-90 fasted. Only doing cardio 15 minutes 4 times a day for management

I'm not the OP, but it sounds like we're in a similar situation. I take the 4iu around 11pm. I usually get home from the gym at 10pm, immediately eat, shower, take telmisartan and hgh, then go to bed.

When I was on 10iu at night I'd wake up and be over 100, up to 111 or so. Dropped down to 6 and was under 100. At 3iu nightly I was at 84 on 7/2.

lb of beef and between half cup an d full cup of dry rice, usually, most evenings

Cut down meals and incorporated some fasted work/cardio and was in the mid 80s this morning on wake up today, shifting eating schedule earlier is a good idea?

after dinner, about an hour after usually, probably too close?
This is actually good timing. Your insulin and blood sugar should peak within 1-2 hours, then start dropping. I always assume those of us who work out will drop to baseline faster. It takes about 3-5 hours for GH to peak. You don't have any real overlap. You may just need more cardio, or diet change.

There's a really good thread on GH timing over at mesorx. I've switched mine to immediately post dinner. I'll normally work out about an hour after that, so it works very well. Taking before bed was killing my sleep. *I don't check my blood sugar regularly though because it's never been an issue. My last non fasted blood draw was 90.

Been running 7.5 iu for abt 2.5 months. I check mine a few times a week, and every time I’m usually mid 80s upon waking. Probably would be better if I waited a little longer, but I usually wake up, take a piss, swig some water, brush my teeth and then take my BG.

I dose my GH all at bed time. I’m in decent shape though, I was a little heavier in the winter only running 4 iu and I was mid 90s low 100s upon waking so being leaner and healthier may be a factor as well.

I'm in almost show condition and at 10iu a day split 3iu pre cardio, 3iu pre workout, and 4iu before bed.

Bloodwork just showed 109 FBG but an A1C of 5.0.

Last meal usually before 7p, maybe protein at 830 or so. INjection at 930-10p before bed.

wake up, do fasted cardio to burn oxidized FAs, win.

I'm not really trusting my home blood glucose monitor. Marek/LabCorp labs came back today with a fasted blood glucose of 89. I wish I would have checked with my home meter that morning. Lately I'm coming in at 105-109, same eating/hgh protocol, yet LabCorp shows a lower result.

I was 100% on schedule with hgh when I had blood drawn, so I could see if IGF-1 changed at all.

do you ever come off hgh for any periods in order to allow body to reset somewhat? I mean with bg of 84 that is pretty ideal, my only concern is that in general off HGH with the amount of exercise I do I'm in the 70s

so I've been consistently getting mid 90s fasted BG in the morning on only 3.5 iu . I work (walk a lot) , do cardio 3+ days a week and lift 3 days a week.

I fasted from 8pm to 8am and it still came back 96, which I attribute to running the hgh for like 6+ months now. Going to continue to monitor for the rest of the week, Id really prefer it to be mid 80s at wake up, I don't want to be moving towards insulin resistance so moving to the 80s would be moving away from that for me

Going to maybe look in to supplements like berberine or even metformin , I just want to continue to get the benefits of hgh because Im finding it to be a very effective compound that really helps

The interesting thing about bg is that if I take it via finger prick when waking up, that's ALWAYS higher than an actual blood draw. So you can use the finger pricks to kinda measure a change over time, but don't think of it as super accurate. Saturday I'm getting bloodwork done again, and if I remember I'll take my Accusure with me, and prick right before the blood draw, then compare what it says to the blood work done by Quest to see what the difference is.

If you're under 100, you're totally fine. Ideally under 90. But, I don't go off unless I'm traveling in Europe or outside of the US.

All I bother with anymore is A1C every couple of months.
