Bitcoin process now a days?

Can someone break down how the Bitcoin process works now a days? When I used it years ago for sources. I would go to local bitcoins. Request the coins. Go to the bank told to. Deposit funds. Then the coins would be released. Then I would transfer the coins to the wallet of the source? Is this still the basic process? Or has it been streamlined? I’m hoping so.

Anyone mind bringing me up to date on how it works now a days? Lost my source and kinda in a panic to find a new one. Old source let me pay cash thru mail. Since I used him for years.

Thanks!

Hey man, sorry you lost your source. I know how tough it is to find someone you trust.

Tell you what though. If you want, I can walk you through the Bitcoin process from beginning to end.
It’s a lot more simple than you’d think. I’ve taught hundreds of people to use it, and I’m 100% sure I can get you going if you’d be interested?

Shoot me an email, and I can totally get you squared away!

Strange. When I try to click on your contact info and try to click send you an email or PM it doesn’t allow me to access it. Says my account might be suspended or banned. Damn I hope I didn’t get suspended or banned already.

Once upon a time I wrote a basic guide- https://www.steroidsourcetalk.org/mybb/Thread-Where-do-I-buy-Bitcoin-crypto-in-the-US

I’m pretty sure the next day someone asked where to buy BTC, fuck me haha. Your reasoning for this question is valid, so hopefully between this and Sparta’s help, you find the easiest way!

I use square app to buy then I withdraw to blockchain (website)… From there I sent the exact amount desired to the address I am given… Total process takes about 2 minutes after double checking all info… I suggest downloading the cash app and becoming verified now since it takes a couple days to be able to withdraw Bitcoin… This is the easiest way I have found to use… With way less fees than coinbase

How do I pay the exact amount of bitcoin. Do you just try to get as close as possible? There is no way to choose dollar amounts on cashapp is there?

Dude, please read the guide I wrote. It is completely moronic to send bitcoin from your “cash app wallet” to a source, let alone anyone. You get zero transaction ID, and you have no way of knowing where tf your coins are, and if the recipient address properly received them. Transfer BTC from cashapp to blockchain wallet, or any other wallets available for your device. I highly recommend blockchain, because it doesn’t require any confirmations before you can send your BTC. Meaning, the second you get BTC in your wallet, you are able to spend it without waiting. just read what I wrote in the post I linked above pls.

Coinbase and vpn
Next
What the fuck is the point of a VPN, when you already handed Coinbase all your personal Information…? I advocate everyone to ATLEAST use a VPN, but this makes no fucking sense what you wrote.

LibertyX does what I need without Coinbase’s constant need to one-up their own bullshit.

No, that is why you transfer it to blockchain… Then from there send the other exact amount plus one cent and it will send the exact total you are trying to send…

Couple options. 1 is local bitcoins. Look for cash transactions. Most anonymous. Of course use VPN, and preferrably a burner phone or at least a Google voice number.

2 is still local bitcoins. Deposit and get Bitcoins. I do this a lot, but only if the bank doesn’t require id for a deposit. I know for sure Wells does, so don’t use a seller who uses that bank.

3 Craigslist. Good for face to face and cash, but sources can be very limited.

I always like to have a good amount of btc in hand, so I purchase based on a dollar amount. For example, I may buy $1000 of btc. You can negotiate the rate. I never pay more than 7%.

I should add, avoid any exchange (ie coinbase). In the us, you have the enter all your info.

Good Android wallets are jaxx and mycelium. They are on your device only, not ties to an exchange or website.

Anybody know if coinmama takes prepaid cards? Next purchase I want to keep it as anonymous as possible. Pretty sure the cash app doesn’t take Pre-Paid cards and Coinbase doesn’t (or didn’t last time I tried). I guess I could try one of those bitcoin ATMs.

Some of the ATMs deal in cash if you want to go that route, but they also have cameras. Your call.
Fees shouldn’t be more than 5-6%, look around.

Some ATMs require you scan your license. Most are 10%+ in fees by me.

I would recommend exhausting other options before turning to an ATM. Like I said, local bitcoins, cash option or craiglsit.
