Hey guys!

I just started GH for the first time. Started at 3iu for week 1. Now into 4iu.

Body weight jumped up 8lbs.
Super lethargic. Feel crazy fatigued, especially right after my lifts lol.
Of course the common joint tightennness Is there…

Is this something I just adapt to and get used to? Or should I drop from 4 back down to 3 or even 2?

AAS:
625mg test cyp
200mg mast e
10mg var pre workout on TD only

titrate up slower.

When are you taking it?

given the short timeframe, is it possible that there are other factors despite the GH to cause your issues?
Disturbed sleep? changes in meal plan? hydration?

I take all before bed.

TBH, I work midnights. 5 days a week I work, the next week I work 2. So sleep schedule is thrown off. But the weight gain only came after I threw in GH. Meal plan the same. Slight surprise. And hydration is the same. 1.25 gallon a day. Sodium is around 3-4K per day.

you can drop your dosage and titrate up slower or you can ride it out.

A bit of weight gain is expected and should balance out with time.
Id expect your fatigue is at least partially a result of your work/sleep schedule

Bet. I’ll ride it out for as long as I can tolerate it. When I got done training back last night, it felt like a truck ran over me. I’ll see how it goes!

First month on gh for anyone tends to come with some fatigued, a bit more exhausted and sleepiness during the day. After that first month, it loosens up/goes away and then turns into somewhat energy. As once you wake up from sleep, you're wide awake.

If it tends to be too much for you, just drop back down to 2 iu's for maybe a week or two and then slowly go up each week or two like what TomJ mentioned. Hang in there man if you can.

Hard to say with your hectic work schedule, also hard to say if it's the GH specifically. I'd ride it out a few more weeks.

If it still isn't working, discontinue GH. It's not the end of the world. Maybe reconsider when you get off shift work.

lower the dose, I too have tried to ramp up too fast after having taken a break from GH, and if it's high quality going straight to 3iu after just a week would give sides to anyone, whether they tolerate them or not is different story. Slower is faster with it if you ask me, and lethargy is ridiculous for me if I jump up too fast, and I can only do it before bed, fasted, otherwise it just isn't worth the side effects. If I was prepping for a show im sure id have a higher tolerance for sides, but I need to function optimally day to day so yep 2-3iu high quality / Pharma hgh before bed fasted for me

4iu after week 1 is way too quick should have started at 2 and assessed after a couple weeks

It’s hard to tell the weight gains as you’re on a lot of gear too

I’m considering starting GH for the first time also and would plan to use 2IU for a few months to assess side effects. 8 pound weight increase in a week is freaky bro.

Edema? Ankles swelling up? I’ve run wet compounds that make you feel like a water buffalo and don’t like it. Prefer to be lean and dry.

It was pretty evenly distributed across my whole body. I just know I woke up and felt so soft and then saw myself in mirror, laughed. Stepped on scale, laughed.

But now I’m back to normal lol just took a day or two to balance out. Took some dandelion root for 2 days and that helped too

8lbs is fluid retention. I can chug a gallon of water (~8lbs) and step on the scale and claim I grew that much in an hour, and when I was actively doing weight cuts for combat sports I was doing that and then some for rebounding up to a walking weight after weigh-ins. Run your gear however you want, but remember that solid mass gains don't come in daily pounds of growth. The top of the top in bodybuilding never even grew that fast. See: Peak contest weight from one year to the next, most added 3-10lbs at best and if it was bigger than that they were coming in watery as fuck.

I never said it was 8lbs of muscle tissue 😂… I know it’s water retention. I was asking for advise on what to do about it. Luckily I’m back to normal so it’s all good.

Spend enough time around here and you'll understand where I'm coming from/was coming from; We get a L O T of people coming here thinking their scale weight going up is all lean muscle gains and I'd imagine they're all built like your average McDonalds enthusiast.

Lot of it will depend on your diet as well as how lean you are. I bump up 3ius over night and I see my pecs and other body parts just fill up with glycogen. Scale weight reflects it as well. Film of water over abs as well, then it stabilizes as mentioned. If you’re fat or eat like shit the beginning and ramp up is a wild card as the water retention happens at every bump from my experience.
