considering you sent payment and they aren’t aware and or acknowledging that payment id assume you probably sent that payment to someone with a phishing email. Double check the email you were conversing with.

It seems like emails are being sent from a fake LnL address. Stay cautious and remember, legitimate sources won't usually reach out to you first with their menu.

You don’t have dental insurance? I go twice a year for cleanings and a checkup. That’s a very typical routine now a days. Dental insurance through most employers is less than $5 a month… I think mine is like $2 a month.
