What dosage and how long does it last? I'd like to lose 20-30lbs. Before y'all start in on eating high protein. I can't afford that shit anymore. I can't afford 200+ grams of protein a day every day.

You can't afford chicken but you can afford semaglutide?
Idk why, but I got a random feeling your brain is scrambled by the ssri sissy hypno pipeline.
Um semi is cheap from the sources on here. Do you know how much chicken would cost to eat 200 grams a day? I'm asking for dosage help not small dick ego bullshit.

a tub of greek yogurt at costco is $5 and you can get 150g's of protein a day easily eating it by itself or in smoothies (with fruits/veggies/additional whey protein at 50cents per scoop). very cheap to get 200g's protein per day.

Man, I get so burnt out on Greek yogurt. I add the little protein crumbs to them from nature valley. But that only last a few days and runs almost 20 bucks every time. I was spending close to $150 a week on food just for me when I was eating 200 grams a day.

0.25mg per week of sema the first 4 weeks, 0.5mg per week of sema the next 4 weeks and finally 1mg per week after that is the recommended dosage. For me I never went above 0.5mg and sema worked extremely well in reducing my appetite.

You still however need to get your protein in or you will likely lose muscle taking sema.

Listen to the "more plates more dates" episode about the dark side of semiglutide.

It's very important to maintain high protein while on these drugs, otherwise they've shown 2/3 of the weight lost is lean mass. It's not the drug that causes lean mass loss, it's diet. People generally choose the easy foods while on those drugs, but they NEED to choose good foods.

I was going to say this. Also they are seeing a lot of people with nutrient deficiencies because the only thing they can stomach to eat are highly palatable foods (junk). I say if your doing the drug because your goal is weight loss, and your reasoning is because you can’t afford to eat 200 grams of protein a day you’re looking at likely being a lot fatter than you are now, and less healthy on the backside after you discontinue the drug. Hopefully you will prove us all wrong. Good luck.

Here is the semaglutide dosing schedule for weight loss

thanks was looking for this. but damn 2.4mg a week, that no joke price wise

People who only need to lose 20 pounds will likely get there before reaching 2.4 mg/wk.

Titrating to 2.4 mg/wk is for people with obesity, not regular dad bods trying to lose their spare tire and maybe get a couple visible abs.

*edit: then again some of us can be a bit extreme, pushing doses. Any bodybuilders here using 2.4 mg to get from a good-looking 6-pack to ripped with ab veins?

Yes if that's the case (only eating junk food), but: 1) obviously not a great approach; and 2) definitely take a multi at least a couple times a week.

Also, knock it off with the junk food. It's not cheaper.
