I feel like the testosterone gives me extreme confidence when I am in the room closing, and I am definitely performing at an above average level. I think part of it is the strong build but also just that extreme confidence that comes with being someone who is in shape vs being some meek chubby person who doesnt know what he wants. Maybe im just a cocky asshole who knows

Are you actually a black belt? When I was younger and got out of prison I felt that way. Was in good shape though not nearly as jacked as I am now, crazy condition from long calisthenics workouts every day, had been fighting and beating literal monsters for the last few years as an undersized white kid that "looks like a boy band member" according to some of the guards, made over a quarter million my first year out, still was connected to some things in a way and at least a few dudes would do anything I told them to without questioning. I miss that confidence, working on getting it back in more wholesome ways and I'm really interested in jiujitsu. Have far less ego now and thought it might be a good fit.

@BJJ_blackbelt310 @Gullinbursti I actually do train lol but am a complete beginner about 50 classes deep not even a 1 stripe white belt. Jitsu definitely in a lot of ways represents challenging yourself and leaving your comfort zone but I would be lying if as new as I am, felt I would have any edge in a physical confrontation.. thats what the glock is for LOL (clearly talking defense here if someone violently attacked me I am not some nut case haha)

I actually am yes.. lol been training consistently for 17 years now.. Been on trt for about 5-6 years which is how i found this page lol. Thats awesome man.. there is no confidence like knowing you can defend yourself in a hand to hand combat if you needed to.. Try out Jiu-jitsu i think you would enjoy it!

Nice man! i always say.. the white belt is the hardest belt to get through.. you have to take a beating almost every class but trust you'll get better after a while. Yes glock is probably the best self defense there is.. lol

I saw a funny post with john danaher where a brown belt asked him how he could beat a world class jitsu practitioner and he literally said “bring a gun” lmao
